Sainte Bernadette Soubirous is one of this blogger's favorite saints. A book by Fr. Rene Laurentin, who passed away "on September 10, 2017," about two months short of his 100th birthday [2], entitled Bernadette Speaks: A Life of Saint Bernadette Soubirous in Her Own Words is a worthwhile read for those who would like to learn about Bernadette.
Starting with Part 1, excluding the glossary, the softcover book has 634 pages, and is fairly heavy. At the moment, this blogger is on page 564. It has taken him some time to get this far. He is not a book reviewer and has no opinion on the book except that he likes it.
With 70 more pages to go, he is already able to affirm for himself that Bernadette Soubirous is without a doubt one of God's saints, as opposed to a "political" one with questionable claims.
